LIGHT BODY, LIGHT MIND

A Lightomics Approach to Movement, Awareness, and Everyday Fitness

Light flows through the universe, through thought, and through the body.
The mind’s clarity depends on the body’s ease, and the body responds to the mind’s attention. This is the core of Light Body, Light Mind — simple routines, gentle awareness, and small daily practices that brighten both physical and mental energy.

On this page you’ll find:

  • Stephen’s personal story of movement, recovery, and resilience
  • Micro-routines inspired by Lightomics
  • TikTok demonstrations (embedded below)
  • Practical ideas you can do anywhere — even in the shower cubicle

1. A Life Kept Moving

(Story section — insert polished version above or the shorter summary)

**[Insert cleaned story here — or use the abbreviated version:]

From childhood breath-holding tricks to swimming two lengths underwater, from football and squash to cycling with Dutch riders flying past, my life has always involved movement. Over the years I’ve had two hip replacements, Dupuytren’s operations, and the slow stiffening that comes with age — but I’ve never stopped adapting. Walking football, one-leg dips, wall-press variations, toe-raises for socks, and the shower-cubicle routine all became part of keeping body and mind in dialogue. Light in the body means possibility; light in the mind means perspective.**

3. The Shower Cubicle Gym

A surprising discovery: many useful movements fit in a shower.

  • Toe touches
  • Wall press-ups
  • Gentle twists
  • Knee lifts
  • Balance practice
  • Foot cleaning as stretching

The space makes you mindful — you slow down, breathe, and use the walls for safety.

4. Light Body → Light Mind

Physical motion brightens the mind.
Mental clarity guides the body.
The two reflect each other the way light reflects off water.

This is the Lightomics approach:
Let the body carry the mind, and let the mind illuminate the body.
